April Fools Day in Norway

A fantastic April Fools Day joke: the Norwegian energy company, Statkraft, announced that they have developed “gamma capturers” that will capture the energy generated when stars explode. This ad was broadcast on Norwegian television on the 1st of April. Take a look:

The travel plans for Mars are well on track. However, did you notice one thing? Under the section on Tourist Spots, there is a lot of reverence for the locations of landings of our “space junk” but, nowhere is any thought or consideration given to the indigenous Martians! We earthlings are SO egocentric. Some things never change!
