Really glad to have come across this blog. I live in Sweden myself but come from Canada where the practice of swaddling is normal. I have bought a Swaddle Me blanket from Ebay and my MIL was totally against it. When she saw a picture at the Midwife showing me that you shouldn’t swaddle a child, she quickly got the Midwife into the discussion both of them saying that I shouldn’t. I have remained adamant and say that there is research supporting the claims and that I wouldn’t be doing it for a long period of time either. It’s just how it’s done here in Sweden, which I’m guessing is similar to Norway. Glad to know that I’m not alone and hoping that when I have my baby (Dec) I’ll have the same success with Swaddling!

My miracle blanket was recommended to me by a friend in the US and it’s brilliant. My baby, 6 weeks now, sleeps brilliantly with it.
