Killing us softly

March 1st, 2008 by Zoë

This is a video lecture about how women are portrayed in advertising (primarily in the United States). It’s quite long, but makes some very good points, and gets you thinking about advertising and what we have come to consider acceptable, despite our belief that sexism is on its way out. I found it really interesting and hope you will too.
